Johnson, Jon William (Bill)
June 17, 1940 - January 18, 2018
On January 18, 2018 at the Northern Lights Manor Bill passed away after a long illness.
He is survived by his sister Fjola and brother-in-law Jim of Valleyview, Alberta. He is also survived by his nephew Jason and Jason's boys, Kristjan and Aaren. He is survived by his many cousins - especially his favourite cousin David Bergman who spent many Saturdays with him when Bill lived in Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his parents Dr. and Mrs. Percival Johnson.
Bill was born in Flin Flon and lived with his parents in Flin Flon until 1973. He went with his parents after they retired to Winnipeg. After his parents
passed away he wanted to go back to Flin Flon, his favourite place. Eventually he got an opportunity to go back. He lived many years in the community with the help of support workers. When his health failed he was admitted to the Northern Lights Manor.
A graveside service for Bill will be held this spring in Morris, Manitoba.

The family wish to extend their thanks to the support workers in the community. They were special people to him. Also thanks to his special friend, Cheryl Blackmon, who was with him in the community and continued to visit and help him at the Manor for many years.
