The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bill Johnson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Vince Murphy-Dodds
Condolence: Billy and I were born in 1940 in the month of June at the Flin Flon General Hospital. His Dad, Dr. Percy Johnson was on hand for my first breath of life. Billy was an early childhood companion for our 'Church Street Gang'. He attended Mrs. Rogers kindergarten with us upstairs at the old Community Hall. Although Billy was not able to attend school and participate, he was a friend and companion for many of us throughout our childhood and teen years in Flin Flon. He always had a cheerful greeting and expressed interest in what was going on in our lives. Indeed, Billy certainly added to the financial stability of Foto-Music Supples!
Enjoy the music, Billy. From you friend 'Doddsie'.

Condolence From: Lisa Sorensen Degenhardt
Condolence: I knew Billy when I was young, as my grandparents were great friends with the Johnson’s. I remember, so well, his large record collection! He will always be remembered.

Condolence From: Donna Graham Williamson
Condolence: It is a sad day when a great man from Flin Flon passes. Bill had good old day stories that no one could remember, he had a sense of humour, he remembered connection to my mom and dad; always knowing I was Wayne’s daughter and he bought records at foto music from my dad when he was a child, etc etc! One day years ago he came driving with me and he recalled buildings I did not recognize, addresses of doctor colleagues of his father and he pointed out the houses they had resided in way before I was born. He knew the colour of the socks and the time of his sister’s Wedding. I learned that he had memorized the credits of the movies and could recite their lines. It is a lesson to those of us left behind to see inside a person and know they are completely whole, genuine, and worthy of so much more in life. In December he still knew my name—-Donna Graham : Wayne Graham he would state when I said “who am I?” As I saw the twinkle of recognition. God bless this man on his journey to replay his records with maybe my dad.
