Condolence: I first met Moe during the winter of '79 when my dad dropped off his wayward son at the Armouries to enrol him in cadets. Moe was our commanding officer, and over the next six years, I had the distinct honour of working with him in cadets and reserves. So much has been said already in Sean's and other's words - he was truly an amazing guy. He always listened and had solutions for everyone's problems, including mine. I can't count how many times, when I was in high school, I hung around late to catch Moe doing custodial repairs so I could pester him with my teenage woes. He was a natural leader who cared about everyone in his orbit. Old friend, I so regret not keeping in touch after my university years. My thoughts are with you, Elaine, Sean and family. Rest well. Condolence: I'm so glad I ran into you, Elaine, at the Co-op today and share with you some memories of Maurice. I remember him bieng on the ground floor of the formation of our local SPCA and how he encouraged us to think big and his sense of vision was so great as we got things off the ground for our current animal shelter. I remember him from my time at Hapnot and he was always very helpful with any work I needed done. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: Elaine and Shaun and all of Moe's family. I'm so very sorry to hear of his passing. He was always so full of mischief when we'd meet up or tease the dickens out of me when calling Wayne for bingo so many years ago. Many times when he called he'd tell me to hang up so he could listen to my voice mail first, teased me about my teeth and brushing them.
